For those of you who have had to give up pizza because of the gluten, you can now happily bring it back into your life!
I was out a couple of weeks ago for a family celebration at Ranalli's of Andersonville (1512 W.Berwyn,Chicago). I was happy to learn that they have pizza and pasta gluten free because I have people in my family who can't have gluten and have been missing the pizza. Ranalli's is not a completely gluten free restaraunt, but they can offer you the following choices:
Medium sized gluten free pizza. The gluten free dough comes on its own pan, prepared outside the restaraunt. You can order it with any of your favorite toppings to dine in or to go. You can even order just the crust and take it home to make your own pizza! We had the onions and mushrooms and it was quite delicious.
Spaghetti or Penne/Mostaccioli; You can order either gluten free pasta with any of their sauces or fixings that are offered in the gluten dishes.
Ranalli's owner Jennifer Grant said she is going to contine making additions like this to her menu and will likely have some organic ingredients available this summer. For more information on the menu and hours visit Ranalli's of Andersonville at www.ranallispizza.com
