I completed the OneSight training module and now have a much better understanding of how their Global Clinics work. However, I know this clinic is going to be different because we are setting up the first Sustainable Clinic, training the local people on how to have their own clinics.
For someone who hasn't traveled farther than Puerto Rico it seems like a dream - joining with people from around the world and working in Africa is almost hard to imagine. I'm excited to be a part of something that will touch so many people around the world, yet is so personal for each individual.

I have perfect vision and I take it for granted. I did my eye exercises on those long nights reading in law school. I don't know if that's why my vision is still in tact or if it is genetic, but I know after this trip I won't take it for granted anymore.
I'm sure many things will change for me because of this trip, my perspective of the world. And I'm very grateful to OneSight.org and Spitfire Sunglass Design for making that possible for me.
If you are interested in helping me and OneSight in their mission please click HERE to donate and help continue to bring free eye care to people all over the world.
