Helping Kids in Poverty Stay Healthy

In Sub-Saharan Africa one in two children live in extreme poverty. Many are orphaned and have to fend for themselves.

It may not seem like much, but getting shoes to children in this area can mean keeping them from devastating and life-threatening diseases. Shoes can also help them get from one place to another to get the resources they need. It can also mean giving them the opportunity to get to school - which can be truly life changing.

I am volunteering for Soles for Jesus to go to Mozambique next May to get shoes to these children and I am raising $2,900.00 to help with this trip. Any donation is appreciated.

My goal is to get 116 people to donate $25.00. If you would like to help please write a check to:

I am also collecting shoes at St. Edward Church on Sunnyside. If you would like to drop off shoes or have any questions you can reach me at agnoske@gmail.com.
